Soon You Will Be Leaving Your Man by Bright Eyes

Bright Eyes • Radio Entertains America (2005)

This version of Soon You Will Be Leaving Your Man was taken from Bright Eyes' performance at KEXP in 2005. Conor Oberst played 6 songs and answered a few questions.

What makes this particular track stand out is the fact that Oberst forgot the lyrics of the song halfway through it and stopped playing. His confession was edited out of the track and the sudden end to the song was faded out to give it a better sound.

Sam's Town (acoustic) by The Killers

The Killers • Too Pretty For Us (2008)

This version of Sam's Town is taken from The Killers' concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London on November 3, 2008. They performed 17 songs from all of their albums, including the forthcoming Day and Age.

This is track 9 of this gig. I made the cover from a photograph taken at the concert by the BBC staff and took the title from a comment Brandon Flowers made a few songs into the show when he said, "this place is too pretty for us."

Nature Boy by Jamie Cullum

Jamie Cullum • Live

I heard this amazing version of Nature Boy by the great Jamie Cullum in a TV special and I just had to add it to my iPod so I made it into a mp3 file and created a cover for it.

When making the digital file I edited out the non-musical/non-speaking part right after Jamie introduces the Indonesian instrument Storm Maker as his "new toy" and spliced it with the actual performance. I don't know the date or place where this was performed.
